My mother and father visited this Saturday passed and haven't stopped raving about the afternoon tea service since! They had a chat with the very accomodating manager Eamonn and felt incredibly welcomed by him and all the staff. They have had many afternoon tea experiences over the years and have rated yours the best! High praise indeed!

Booked carvery for 6 adults @ £39 each. Food was exceptional. The quality of the starters was second to none. Main course was excellent as expected. Deserts were plentiful and very well made and prepared. The thing that I appreciated the most was that you had no limitations on going back for what you liked the most. So if you are partial to deserts, you can have as many or as much as you like and this was the same for everything. Drinks were normal price for hotels and the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. Only bad thing, and this is me being picky, was that our glasses were not very clean. Lipstick marks. Enjoyed the experience and with live music in the background, highly recommended

Booked the Sunday Carvery as it kept popping up on my socials. It certainly didn't disappoint. You are greeted at the entrance to the ballroom, a gentleman then kindly took us to our table, as this was our first time he explained where each course was located and that someone would be with us shortly to take drink orders. The spread of food was beautifully executed, especially the starters, this was layed out close to the centre of the room with a whole spread of different foods that would suit many taste buds. The mains at the far wall was a spread of Turkey, ham and roast beef. And to the left was soup breads and a children's section. The meats were beautiful and absolutely not dry. I guess my biggest complaint would be that the food was not even close to lukewarm, I understand that to much heat would dry out the food, but I think worth this in mind the gravy should be a lot warmer, this would add heat to the main meal, unfortunately the gravy was barely warm too. This is just an observation and certainly didn't take away from my experience, but it would of been nice to have hot gravy on lukewarm food. The desserts were in a different league altogether, a huge amount to choose from. I highly recommend the pavlova though, never have i ever tasted one so good. Staff were extremely polite and welcoming, very attentive and observing to ensure dirty plates were lifted promptly and drink top ups always available. A lovely experience, one I would certainly pay for again.

My daughter and I went for afternoon tea today Saturday. Everything perfect, food delicious, and plentiful. All staff very polite and professional from we went through the door until leaving. Got seated beside the wood stove which we appreciated on this chilly day. General manager Eamon came to check that everything was to our satisfaction, we praised the way everyone looked after us, and he spent a few minutes to chat with us which was a lovely touch. One of the youngest staff Josh mostly attended to us and such a lovely lad, other staff including bar staff too but sorry I didn't catch their names. We both had a lovely afternoon and will be back again, also recommend their mother's day afternoon tea we attended last year. Thank you to all.

Went to see a show and decided to have dinner first. Table of 5 served by Evie, who was polite and very helpful. Food was prompt and tasty. We had starters and mains, everyone loved what they got. Would definitely return again for food and show The Jersey Tones was excellent. Great Saturday night had by all.

We had carvery lunch with the family on the occasion of our wedding anniversary on 1st March. We had a great table and service was first class. Starters, main courses and dessert were of brilliant quality and with self service there was little waste. Well done Stormont!

Really amazing hotel, with really friendly staff. They really wanted to make you feel at home. From check in to check out the whole hotel, where all so helpful and wanted to assist in any way they can. Have to give a shout to Phil from the front desk, he was extremely helpful and professional. He also wanted to help in any way shape or form, definitely think he is the next General Manager for the Hastings brand.

We have just had the best carvery dining experience. After being to a few carvery lunches very recently, there is absolutely no comparison in value, flavour, or choice of food. The professionalism of all the staff has to be commended too. As we were warmly greeted and welcomed to our table, Ethan explained the details of the carvery to us. The choice of starters was excellent, followed by artisan bread selection and soup. We then met the chef, Brendan, who carved us delicious meats for our main course. The waiting staff, Robert, Josh and Evie, were all so pleasant and helpful, checking in if we needed anything and clearing our plates away. It honestly felt like every member of staff was happy to be at work today. I can’t remember the last time I noticed such excellent customer service. The dessert table was something else. I can’t say enough good things about our dining experience today. I initially thought the price point of £40 per head was steep but when you see the quality, quantity and variety of the food available, I have had to change my opinion. There was a very generous attitude to the portions, it really is a genuine all you can eat buffet. Well done I’m away to lie down.
